These receiver bends are similar to a plain bend in design, but feature a vent to prevent a pressure build-up within the distillation assembly.
• Socket size 19/26, cone 19/26, overall height 106 mm, angle 100°
• Manufactured from 3.3 expansion borosilicate glass complying with ISO 3585 (ASTM E-438 Type 1 Class A).
• With side-arm to vent to the atmosphere
• Avoids the problem of pressure build-up in a closed distillation system
• N.B.: The side-arm is for venting purposes and not for connection to a vacuum source.
