Edexcel B CP10: Effects of Wavelength of Light on Photosynthesis
Abstract:
Investigate the effect of changing the wavelength of light on the rate of photosynthesis, and understand how to measure the rate of photosynthesis, looking at oxygen production.
Hints & Tips:
- You can use Egeria densa or native hornwort (Ceratophyllum demersum) as an alternative to Cabomba or Elodea, which are now banned (invasive) nonnative species.
- Sodium hydrogen carbonate is low hazard, but avoid inhalation or contact with eyes.
