Abstract:
Identify sclerenchyma fibres, phloem sieve tubes and xylem vessels and their location within stems through a light microscope.
Hints & Tips:
- Tinned rhubarb is suggested, only a small piece will be needed.
- Methylene blue should be used at 1%.
- Glycerol should be used at 50%.
