Radioactivity Bench Kit

Complete set-up bench for radioactive sources and GM tubes, which provides a stable set-up for experiments with radioactive radiation.
The setup bench is suitable for examining the range of the different types of radiation in air and absorption of the radioactive radiation in tin and aluminium.
Consists of a 45 cm long bench (rail) with mm scale, holder for GM pipe and holder for radioactive sources. On the source holder is a Ø 6 mm metal rod for hanging absorber plates.
The holder for the radioactive sources can be rotated and is equipped with a degree scale +/- 110 degrees with 1 degree resolution.
Included is an absorber set consisting of:
• Tin plates: Quantity 6 x 2 mm
• Aluminium plates: Quantity 2 x 3 mm, 6 x 2 mm and 4 x 0.5 mm.
Note A radioactive source is not included in the kit or a GM sensor
