The BMS D2 microscope has high resolution objectives and two wide field (WF) eyepieces with plan optics.
The optics allow the user to view colourful, high contrast, clear images. The stability of the microscope is guaranteed by the solid design of the stand and its base. The stand also has a wide window on the rear.
The BMS D2 microscope is equipped with a large stage and an integrated movable specimen holder. Has a large working surface, 140 x 155 mm. The integrated X-Y specimen holder is easy to use thanks to the ergonomically placed coaxial controls.
The Abbe condenser is easy to exchange with various accessories such as darkfield or phase contrast condensers. The condenser can be adjusted in height using the rack and pinion system.
All optical surfaces (eyepiece and objectives) are coated with an anti-fungus layer.
The new generation of LED illumination gives comfort and rest to the eye. The spectrum of the LED is equal to that of natural daylight and is adjustable in intensity. The LED light source is comparable to a 30 W halogen light source.

• Widefield 10x/20 mm high eyepoint eyepieces, anti-fungus coated, superior optical parts to guarantee a bright and clear, crisp, and real colour image. The flexible and foldable eyecaps complete it all.
• Inverted quadruple nosepiece, with DIN high-resolution Semi Plan objectives and rubber ring for grip. You can easily check which objective is in use and change magnifications without other objectives getting in the way.
• A large stage with low positioned, high accurate, XY coaxial controlled mechanical stage and vernier, single slide specimen holder. The fine-tuned mechanical stage for optimum positioning of the slide.
• Ergonomic positioned, bilateral, coaxial fine and coarse focusing mechanism. For effortless and accurate focusing.
• The new generation 3 Watt LED, stable and flicker-free, low energy-consuming. With daylight light output, for optimum comfort to the eyes. Lighthouse is equipped with an iris diaphragm.
• The microscope offers standard 3 types of electrical use in one microscope: 1. 100~240 V connection through the included power cable. 2. Recharges automatically while connected to the electrical power. Rechargeable batteries available as an accessory. 3. Standard non-rechargeable batteries, type AA, 1,5 V, 3 pieces.
• The main power switch is located at the back and light intensity control knob is located at the side. All for easy operational use.

• Condenser: Abbe condenser (N.A. 1.25) in holder, with centering screws. Adjustable height via rack and pinion. With iris diaphragm (0 - 100% adjustable).
• Illumination: new generation LED (3 Watt) with Köhler iris diaphragm. Light intensity is continuously variable by means of a potentiometer. Intensity comparable with 30 W halogen.
